Yellow tea, or Huang Cha, is a rare Chinese speciality tea known for its exceptionally smooth, mellow character. After firing, the tea leaves undergo a gentle yellowing stage, where warmth and moisture soften grassy notes and develop a deeper, honeyed sweetness. Our Ancient Tree Yellow Tea is made from whole tea leaves and gently pressed into an individual 5g round, opening into a clear golden infusion with bright fruit, meadow florals and a softly creamy, rounded finish.
Each 5g round is individually sealed in a high-barrier pouch to protect the tea leaves from light, humidity and surrounding aromas, preserving their fragrance and delicate character until you are ready to brew.
